Attended Brigham Young University Jim was elected to the
College Football Hall of Fame in 1998 ... One of the
toughest quarterbacks ever, Jim led the Chicago bears
offense for eight seasons ( 1982-1989) and drove them to
a 46-10 victory over the New England Patriots in the
1986 Super Bowl. He was named to the Pro Bowl that
season. Jim also spent time during his NFL career San
Diego, Minnesota, Philadelphia, and earns a second Super
Bowl ring with the 1996 Green Bay Packers.
He was
voted UPI's NFC Rookie of the Year... Consensus
All-American at Brigham Young University, where he led
the nation in passing in 1980 and 1981 and was the first
player to throw for over 4,000 yards in a season. Jim is
